What happens when an engineering consultant is a hot potato. World’s flesh peeps, flickers and shines. Communication is geometry. Why does my electric skin glow more than the coal in the grill? Is it really that communication works as sounds on semiotic fields and as dialogue between them? We want to peel our potatoes in peace, but we fear that the silence of a sheepskin coat is forgotten in the message of the shepherds.

Electric guards observe our joy from the level of their tele-consciousness. Can any message be a reply? Desire returns to abstract velocity. What kind of traces do the steps in space leave behind? I, too, have my weight and you have your weight: we do have our weight. But how much do we weigh? My velocity lies in my being three-dimensional. What if I begin to slow down? Some kind of organic turbulence, or?

Irma Optimist (D.Ec) from Helsinki, Finland, is a performance artist and senior lecturer of mathematics at Turku School of Economics and Business Administration, her research area being chaos theory.

In her performances, Irma Optimist combines the female view of the real world with the world of abstract mathematics. She intends to produce interferences on the field of scientific logic.

"Her performances proceed through minor catastrophes to a resolution which can be either static harmony or total chaos....unmissable"
